HISD Requires W-9 Forms
December 18, 2017 - HSSOA News

Consider an EIN for W-9 Forms

Identity theft should be big concern for officials that leave pay sheets with the ticket takers at the different venues. Consider visiting the IRS website and applying for and immediately receiving an Employee Tax Identification number (EIN). It is very easy to do and having one will add a layer of protection against identity theft. www.irs.gov

NFHS Rules Myth vs Fact

Myth: A challenge/tackle from behind is never legal and always a foul.

Fact: A fair/clean tackle from behind (i.e., the player makes contact with the ball first rather than the opponent) is legal so long as it is not violent or dangerous and the ball is within playing distance.
